Cieľom tejto normy je definovať požiadavky na kvalitu pre cukety po úprave a balení. The purpose of the standard is to define the quality requirements of courgettes after preparation and packaging.
Táto norma sa uplatňuje na cukety, ktoré sa zberajú mladé a krehké, predtým ako ich semená stvrdnú, z odrôd (kultivarov) vypestovaných z Cucurbita pepo L., dodávané spotrebiteľovi v čerstvom stave, okrem cukiet určených na priemyselné spracovanie. This standard applies to courgettes, harvested young and tender, before their seeds have become firm, from varieties (cultivars) grown from Cucurbita pepo L. to be supplied fresh to the consumer, courgettes for industrial processing being excluded.
V záujme jasnosti by pravidlá o cuketách mali byť oddelené od pravidiel o iných produktoch podľa nariadenia (ES) č. 1292/81 a toto nariadenie by sa malo príslušne zmeniť a doplniť. In the interest of clarity, the rules on courgettes should be separated from those on other products under Regulation (EC) No 1292/81 and this Regulation should be amended accordingly.
Definície a špeciálne kategórie
Miniplody sú odroda alebo kultivar cukety získaný šľachtením a/alebo zvláštnymi pestovateľskými technikami. Miniature produce means a variety or cultivar of courgette, obtained by plant breeding and/or special cultivation techniques. Požiadavky na veľkosť sa neuplatňujú na miniplody (1) ani na cukety uvádzané na trh s kvetom. The size requirements shall neither apply to miniature produce (1), nor to courgettes presented with the flower. Označenie „Cukety s kvetom“ alebo rovnocenné označenie je potrebné, ak je to vhodné. ‘Courgettes with flower’ or equivalent designation, where appropriate.
Vzhľad - „skilandis“ je údený mäsový výrobok v prírodnom obale z bravčového mechúra alebo hovädzieho slepého čreva, obviazaný špagátom, s nerovným a hrubým povrchom, tvaru stlačenej kvapky alebo menšej cukety. Appearance - ‘skilandis’ is a smoked meat product in a natural pig’s bladder or cow’s caecum casing, bound with string, with an uneven, rough surface, in the shape of a compressed tear or a smallish courgette.
Požiadavky na kvalitu a balenie
Obsah každého balenia musí byť vyrovnaný a obsahovať iba cukety rovnakého pôvodu, odrody alebo obchodného typu, kvality a veľkosti (ak sú triedené podľa veľkosti) a viditeľne rovnakého stupňa vývinu a vyfarbenia. The contents of each package must be uniform and contain only courgettes of the same origin, variety or commercial type, quality and size (if sized), and appreciably the same degree of development and colouring.
Cukety sa musia baliť tak, aby bola zabezpečená patričná ochrana plodov. The courgettes must be packed in such a way as to protect the produce properly.
Tolerancie kvality pre cukety
Pre všetky triedy: 10 % z počtu alebo hmotnosti cukiet, ktoré nespĺňajú požiadavky veľkosti ale ich veľkosť je tesne nad alebo pod veľkosťou stanovenou na obale. For all classes: 10 per cent by number or weight of courgettes not satisfying the requirements of the size but satisfying those of the size immediately below or above that specified on the package. 10 % z počtu alebo hmotnosti cukiet, ktoré nespĺňajú požiadavky triedy ani minimálne požiadavky s výnimkou plodov napadnutých hnilobou alebo akýmkoľvek iným zhoršením kvality, ktoré spôsobuje, že sú nevhodné na spotrebu. 10 per cent by number or weight of courgettes satisfying neither the requirements of the class nor the minimum requirements, with the exception of produce affected by rotting or any other deterioration rendering it unfit for consumption.

Medzinárodné normy a obchodné kódy
To that end, and in the interest of preserving transparency on the world market, account should be taken of the UN/ECE standard FFV-41 concerning marketing and quality control of courgettes recommended by the Working Party on Standardisation of Perishable Produce and Quality Development of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN/ECE).
Nariadenie Komisie (EHS) č. 1292/81, ktorým sa ustanovujú normy kvality pre pór, baklažány a cukety (3), naposledy zmenené a doplnené nariadením (ES) č. 46/2003 (4), bolo zmenené a doplnené a už nemôže zabezpečiť právnu jasnosť. Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1292/81 laying down quality standards for leeks, aubergines and courgettes (3), as last amended by Regulation (EC) No 46/2003 (4), has been amended and can no longer ensure legal clarity.
Obchodná norma pre cukety patriace pod číselný znak KN 0709 90 70 je stanovená v prílohe. The marketing standard for courgettes falling within CN code 0709 90 70 shall be as set out in the Annex.
Systém vstupných cien a colné kódy
Systém vstupných cien: pre všetky dovozy (v rámci aj mimo rámca colných kvót, podľa potreby) kódov KN 0702 (paradajky), 0707 00 05 (uhorky), 0709 90 70 (cukety), 0809 10 (marhule) a 0809 20 (čerešne) sa týmto zavádza päť dodatočných etáp (10 %, 12 %, 14 %, 16 % a 18 %), ktoré sa musia používať pred uplatnením úplného osobitného cla, ako je uvedené v kombinovanej nomenklatúre. Entry price system: for all imports (within and outside the tariff quotas, as applicable) of CN codes 0702 (tomatoes), 0707 00 05 (cucumbers), 0709 90 70 (courgettes), 0809 10 (apricots) and 0809 20 (cherries), five additional stages (10 %, 12 %, 14 %, 16 % and 18 %) are herewith introduced which have to be used before the application of the full specific duty as mentioned in the Combined Nomenclature.
